The traditional activities of housework are transformed by young artists into constructive strategies of their artistic work. For centuries, the only representation of women, with few exceptions, was in the media and techniques of the fields which had a purely applied and decorative form. Knotting, knitting, embroidery and all these activities have become kind of a language for those who can read these signs. The experience of time implicit in these works and their corporeality undermine the linear causality of the norm, juxtaposing it with a practice that deals with arbitrary patterns and complex processes.
