Albert Renger-Patzsch - Robert Adams
Two contributions to documentary landscape photography
April 26 - June 02, 1985
Photo exhibition organized by Dieter Hinrichs.
“Renger-Patzsch photographed the Ruhr area between 1927 and 1935. He was fascinated by the industrial culture, while the American Adams, some 40 years later, captured the negative effects of this industrialization in the transformation of a landscape. The Kunstverein has thus addressed a topic that is truly explosive at the moment.”
