In conversation with Gürsoy Doğtaş, Cana Bilir-Meier presents her book Düşler Ülkesi. The publication discusses aspects of social diversity, participation, historical fades, and migrant knowledge.
Bilir-Meier is concerned with private and public archives and the stories hidden therein—most of which remain untold—with a special focus on (post-)migrant worlds of experience. In her work, the artist investigates questions of social, cultural, emotional, and structural participation as well as equality for all. To this end, she uses a wide range of media such as film, drawing, performance, or audio.
