Wendy is part of this year's Jahresgaben, and is on view online as well as the Schaufenster – the window display at the Hofgarten.
Jahresgaben date back to the foundation of the Kunstverein München in 1823, when members received a print each year as part of their membership. Over time, this developed into a group exhibition with work by mostly Munich-based artists. The Jahresgaben became an important format reflecting the diversity of the city's contemporary art scene by presenting and discussing its works. Our members have the opportunity to purchase works at special prices and thus support the local artistic production as well as the Kunstverein München.
