Rosalind Nashashibi works primarily with film, and includes a digitalized 16mm film loop with sound in Sudoku, as well as a new series of drawings on paper and on loose canvas. These new works deviate from the numerical aspect of Sudoku puzzles, and veer into more typographical terrain. For her new edition, she moves even further towards abstraction, and produced a silkscreen on paper — overlaying these mechanically reproduced forms with hand painted elements, which makes each edition unique.
