“Under the title ‘Gefühl und Härte: Neue Kunst aus Berlin’ (‘Feeling and Hardness: New Art from Berlin’), the Kunstverein München will show a representative cross-section of current Berlin art from early October to mid-November 1982. Excluded are ‘critical realism’ and constructivist tendencies.
Such an overview has not yet been seen in Munich. This exhibition is organized by the Kunstverein in joint sponsorship with Philip Morris GmbH, which is patronizing the project. The exhibition is prepared by Dr. Ursula Prinz, Berlinische Galerie, and Wolfgang Jean Stock, Kunstverein München. Both also sign as editors of the catalog book, which will be published for the exhibition.” (Press release)

The group show was initiated by Dr. Ursula Prinz (Berlinische Galerie) and Wolfgang Jean Stock (Kunst- verein München) and presented works by artists such as Olaf Metzel, Bernd Zimmer, Rainer Fetting, and more.
