Vladimir Tatlin

22 January - 08 March 1970

“With an exhibition on the work of the Russian revolutionary artist and constructivist Vladimir Tatlin, the Munich Kunstverein is currently making itself interesting: Tatlin's works in the Soviet Union and connected republics, wanted to be neither art nor technology, but ‘an appropriate design of the underworld’.
Also on display is a replica (made by a Swedish carpenter) of the famous leaning Society Tower, which was to be put into service by the government and parliament.”
(Münchner Merkur, 26 January 1970)
