In February 2008, the Kunstverein München in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut New York opened the exhibition space LUDLOW 38 in the lower East-Side of New York- one of the last remaining ungentrified quarters of Manhattan. In the last couple of years different collectives and project spaces emerged in this neighborhood. Under the Title SOME NEIGHBORS Kunstverein München invited some of its new neighbors to organise workshops, talks, screenings and present their work in Germany.
