Klaudia Schifferle
Pictures and drawings
January 25 - March 02, 1986
First exhibition after the renovation in 1985.
Solo show of the artist and post-punk musician (Kleenex/LiLiPUT) Klaudia Schifferle in the rooms of the Kunstverein Munich, which were redesigned at that time by the architect Peter Strassl.
"In the strangely proliferating drawings, paintings, and sculptures, many-headed sphinxes with countless hurried eyes writhe about, nightmarish spectres hatch from the whitecaps of the seas, and pale, cosmic beings encapsulate themselves. No horror hams, no fairy tales, rather coolly constructed mechanisms whose concentrated-convulsive guts burst within, currently hang at the Munich Kunstverein."
