On and Off the Grid ist ein neues Präsentations- und Veranstaltungsprogramm, das sich verschiedenen Formen des Publizierens widmet und im Schaufenster am Hofgarten verortet ist – dem einzigen permanent zugänglichen Ort der Institution. Die Reihe begreift „Publizieren“ im erweiterten Sinne jenseits und zwischen konventionellen Medien und versteht sich als Format für die Vorstellung und Verhandlung von (nicht-)publiziertem Material sowie von Prozessen der Veröffentlichung.

Eleanor Ivory Weber bespielt als zweiter Gast das neue Format im Schaufenster. Weber sind Künstler*in und Autor*in und leben in Brüssel, wo sie Kunsttheorie und kritische Praxis an der Erg (École de recherche graphique-école supérieure des arts) unterrichten. Sie sind außerdem Co-Direktor*in von Divided Publishing. Webers Präsentation im Schaufenster schließt ab mit einer Performance am Samstag, den 4. Juni von 16–18 Uhr.

On and Off the Grid is a new program of presentations and events focusing on various form(at)s of publishing, taking place in the street level window display. The series conceives of “publishing” in a broad sense, beyond and between conventional types of media, and provides a platform for the examination and (re)negotiation of the materials and processes involved in publishing.

Eleanor Ivory Weber is the second guest of the series. They are an artist and writer living in Brussels, where they teach art theory and critical practice at Erg (École de recherche graphique–école supérieure des arts), and are co-director of Divided Publishing. Weber’s presentation will conclude with a performance on Saturday, June 4 from 4–6pm.
