Attila Csörgő will present a new kinetic work in the Schaufenster from 15 July until 17 September 2017. Through a series of pulleys, motors, and sculptural elements, new geometric forms will appear and disappear, in real time, behind the glass display window.
Attila Csörgo is an artist based in Warsaw. Combining photography, sculpture, and drawing, the works of Attila Csörgő are explorations into kinetics, physics, optics, geometry, and engineering, that examine the parameters of perception using an economy of means. He has exhibited his work internationally at venues and biennials, including the 57th Venice Biennial, Documenta 13, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, Secession, Vienna, Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest, MUDAM, Musée d ́Art Moderne Grand Duc Jean, Luxembourg, 16th Biennial of Sydney, Kunsthalle Mainz, and Galeria Arsenal power station, Bialystok.
