Naturidentische Stoffe
(Nature-identical substances)
26.04. - 30.04. 1989
"in april 1989 the first part of the anti new york plans, naturidentische stoffe, was performed at the kunstverein munich, parallel to this minimal club organized an exhibition there on the theme of naturidentische stoffe + invited jutta koether, (schule der) tödlichen doris + nina hofmann to it. the first issue of the newspaper for 10 years, A.N.Y.P., was published." "All A.N.Y.P.s are 'anti new york plans' that indicate a negative. A.N.Y.P. is a newspaper of the minimal club. It is published annually until the year 2000: on the one hand, explication of action brought to bear (people appear, people exhibit), on the other hand, text and art procedures treated like information. In this respect it is clear that A.N.Y.P. is not an organ of the minimal club, even if it is made profitable as self-understanding. In 1989 it was the 'anti new york pläne 1': nature-identical materials, a project at the Munich Kunstverein, which provided the reason for the publication of the first number. The authors and participating artists, largely people from our environment, propagate attitudes and arguments that - somehow still quite 80s - revolve around biological and cultural substitutes. "ich bin kein Wandersmann ich schaue lieber" (“I am not a wanderer I prefer to watch”), first sentence of the first A.N.Y.P., introduces the different types of looking that the stay in the artificial requires: Contributions by Silvia Hamberger, a "documentary through non-documentary material" on the state of gen-technology, Die Tödliche Doris, Nina Hoffmann, Jutta Koether and others."
